Job Opportunity: Home Health Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Richmond, Virginia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Provide direct inpatient-level care to patients in their home environment.
- Deliver nursing care based on individualized patient plans using remote clinical coordination and technology.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to implement therapeutic interventions.
- Document patient care and maintain high quality and safety standards.
- Work rotating 12-hour shifts (7a-7p and 11a-11p).
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Virginia.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in home health, with home health experience within the last year.
- Minimum 3 years of critical care, acute care, or medical-surgical RN experience, including acute care and med-surg experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
