Job Opportunity: Infection Prevention (Registered Nurse)

Location: Oregon City, Oregon
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
• Floating: No floating between units
• On-Call: Yes, on-call rotates among all Oregon Region Infection Preventionists for statewide coverage
• Weekends: Required only during on-call weeks
• Block Schedules: Not required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum of 1 year of Infection Control experience, including experience within the last year

Additional Requirements

• Photo for Badge: Passport-style photo with neutral background required
• Float Policy: Acknowledgement required; may be required to float to another facility within reasonable distance
• Competency Exams: Medication test/pharmacology competency exam and other competency exams as applicable by specialty
• Skills Checklist: Required for applicable units, updated annually
• WorkRamp Modules:

  • Completion of system-level and specialty-specific regulatory and training modules prior to start and annually thereafter
  • Modules assigned based on region, profession, and specialty
• Epic Access: Completion of Epic training modules required within a week of orientation (for applicable regions)

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
• Relocation assistance may be provided for candidates transferring from other locations within Oregon.
• On-call weeks require weekend availability; otherwise, weekends are not regularly scheduled.
