Job Summary
Seeking a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Room travel assignment in Auburn, New York. This role requires proficiency in emergency nursing care and the ability to independently manage patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Emergency Department (ED) experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Additional Information
- Nurses are responsible for independently measuring telemetry strips and accurately interpreting cardiac rhythms for all telemetry patients under their care, as telemetry technicians are not employed.
- Stroke education (including NIH Stroke Scale training) is required annually for Emergency Room nurses.
- National certification/verification required prior to start and upon expiration as applicable.
- Orientation includes a safety manual acknowledgement.
- Candidates must complete all required documentation and certifications prior to facility start.
