Job Opportunity: Case Manager (Registered Nurse)

Job Details

• Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts or 5x8-hour shifts, Days
• Minimum Experience: 3 years of directly related RN experience (higher end of 2-3 years stated)
• Specialty: Registered Nurse - Case Manager
• Required Experience: Must have inpatient Case Management experience
• Role: Manage a full workload as a seasoned Case Manager

Required Qualifications

• Current California RN License
• American Heart Association recognized BLS - Healthcare Provider certification

Additional Requirements & Compliance

• Background checks including 7-year criminal search, national criminal, sex offender, FACIS Level 3, OIG/GSA, EPLS/SAM, and HHS/OIG within 30 days of start
• I9 verification
• Driver’s License or State ID with address
• NURSYS verification for RN license
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NP, confirming good health and free of communicable diseases
• Negative 9-panel drug test within 30 days prior to start
• Badge photo with white background (headshot with shoulders, no selfies)
• Online orientation completion prior to start
• Flu vaccination or signed declination prior to start (for 2025-26 flu season)
• Annual TB testing or chest X-ray as applicable
• Immunizations or titers for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella (vaccines or positive titers; declinations accepted where noted)
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam with 80% pass rate, to be completed within 12 months of start
• Unit Specialty Competency Exam with 80% pass rate, to be completed within 12 months of start
• Core Competency Exams (Parts I, II, III) with 80% or above, updated annually
• Pass/Fail arrhythmia exam prior to start for applicable units
• HIPAA Acknowledgement
• Compliance with facility-specific documentation and training requirements

Certifications (if applicable to role/unit)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - AHA only, required for certain critical care and specialty units
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA only, required for pediatric and emergency units
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) - AHA only, required for postpartum, nursery, NICU, L&D
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - preferred for ER
• EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) - required for L&D RNs within 2 years
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) - required for Psych/Behavioral Health and ER positions (not specified as required here)
