- Unit: IMCU/Step Down RN
- Floating: Yes, will float between units
- On-call Requirement: No
- Weekend Requirement: Yes, 6 shifts per 6 weeks
- Expected Ratios: 1:4
- 48-hour Shifts Approved: Yes

Dress Code
- Licensed Nursing Personnel (RN, LVN): Solid navy blue uniforms or scrub attire (scrub tops may have colored piping; print tops not acceptable).
- Unlicensed Personnel (US, CNA, PCA, NT, MT): Solid hunter green uniforms or scrub attire (print tops not acceptable).

Certifications Required
- ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- BLS: Basic Life Support
- PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- CHEMO: Chemotherapy
- EFM: Electronic Fetal Monitoring
- NURSYS Verification: Required for all RNs
- IV Certification: Required for LVN/LPN/Other
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB): Required
- NIH Stroke Certification: Required
- CPI: Crisis Prevention Institute
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam: Required as applicable by profession
Health Documents Required
- Physical Exam: Within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO.
- TB Test: IGRA/TSPOT, QGold, or 2 PPDs within 12 months of start date.
- Vaccinations:
- Tdap Vaccine
- Flu Vaccine (during flu season)
- COVID-19 Vaccination or Declination
- Hepatitis B Vaccination
- Varicella Vaccination
- Drug Testing: 10 Panel Drug Screen within 90 days of start.
Background Check
- Required within 45 days of start covering all locations lived/worked within the past 7 years.
References
- Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last three years within a comparable specialty/setting.
