Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray (Evenings)

Location: Charleston, South Carolina

Job Summary

Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other locations. Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit images for radiologist interpretation. Perform EKGs as needed and transmit to a cardiologist. Maintain equipment and vehicle, communicate regularly with dispatch and management, and ensure professional interactions with staff and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Perform portable X-Ray exams ordered by physicians, ensuring clinically diagnostic and technically competent images.
Perform EKGs as required and transmit results for interpretation.
Scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol.
Maintain and care for portable X-Ray equipment and vehicle.
Communicate efficiently with dispatch, management, peers, and clients.

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiology Technician license in South Carolina
ARRT certification
Minimum of 1 year of Radiology Technician experience, including experience within the last year

Physical Demands

Frequent pushing/pulling of equipment weighing 50 lbs or more, up to 16-24 times per day.
Ability to perform duties in various care settings, including nursing homes and patient residences.
