Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry

Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide professional and clinical nursing care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses.
Work schedule typically 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours.

Required Qualifications

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg/Telemetry
Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required.
Prior Travel Experience: At least 1 completed travel contract required.
Licenses & Certifications:
- Iowa RN License (Compact license allowed)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
Additional Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
- Work history/resume
- License verification
- Copy of required certifications
- One supervisory reference at time of submission
Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility (exceptions apply for Madison with a rate reduction).

Orientation

Orientation sessions are scheduled regularly (dates available upon request).

Additional Information

Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred.
OT/Holiday and call-back pay multipliers apply.
On-call pay available.
Charge/Precept pay available.

This position is ideal for experienced Med Surg/Telemetry RNs with prior travel contract experience seeking a temporary assignment in Iowa.
