Pharmacist (Inpatient / Outpatient) - Temp Position

Location: Sioux City, Iowa
Shift: Nights
Hours per Day: 10
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Overview

• Provide professional and clinical pharmacy care as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• May be required to float within the pharmacy discipline across local campuses.
• Work schedule typically 36-40 hours per week; overtime billable after 40 hours.
• Use of EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Night shift position.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of pharmacy experience, with preference for hospital experience.
• Sterile compounding experience required.
• EPIC experience required.
• Valid state pharmacist license required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must have completed skills checklist within 1 year of application.
• Work history/resume, license verification, copy of certifications, and one supervisory reference required at time of submission.
• Must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the facility.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of at least 1 prior travel contract preferred.

• Orientation sessions are scheduled regularly (dates available upon request).
• Night shift includes holiday and overtime pay multipliers.
• Call back and on-call pay available.
• Charge/precept pay available.

Specialty Focus

• Primary focus on Adult Medical/Surgical and Critical Care pharmacy services.
