Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D) (Days)

Location: Keene, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Provide nursing care to patients from infancy through the adult lifespan.
• Utilize knowledge of age-related growth and development to individualize nursing care.
• Follow nursing philosophy, standards of care, and standards of practice.
• Support a midwife-led, low-intervention approach to pregnancy care emphasizing natural birth with medical resources available if needed.
• Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at submission; no more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted.
• Block scheduling or schedule accommodations will NOT be considered.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Hampshire
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, including experience within the last year
• Experience in Postpartum care
• Experience with Epic EMR system
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification
• Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Must have own vehicle (firm requirement)
• Must include permanent address in profile
• All medical and occupational health compliance items must be completed and documented within 5 days of offer acceptance

Preferred Qualifications

• AWHONN Certification within the past 3 years.

Additional Information

• No local travelers within 50 miles of the facility will be considered.
• Travelers cannot work concurrently with another permanent placement or travel assignment for this role.
• All scheduling requests and time off must be submitted upfront; requests after offer or during interview will not be approved and may result in rescinded offers.
• Non-billable orientation required.
• Call requirement: 4.00 (details not specified).
