Psychiatric/Behavioral Health Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel assignment in Green Bay, Wisconsin
Inpatient psych RN role
Contract length: 13 weeks
Start: ASAP
Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
Primary location: BPC Adult Unit
Unit serves adults ages 18 and older with acute mental health illness and alcohol detox
Unit includes an Adult Unit regular wing and Intensive Care Unit
Patient ratio: 1:6 on days/pms; 1:10 on nights

Shift and schedule

Mostly 8-hour shifts, with some possible 12-hour shifts
Shift times: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM and 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
Majority of hours are expected to be 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
Every other weekend and holiday rotation
Orientation occurs during the week, even for every-weekend positions

Required qualifications

Valid RN license in Wisconsin
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS issued by American Heart Association
CPI
Psychiatric experience within the last year
Psychiatric nursing experience
Experience working with adult patients
Experience with Epic

Preferred qualifications

NIHSS
Hard worker
Time management
Resilient and manages change well
Social candidate

Additional notes

Contractors must be outside a 50-mile radius of Bellin Health
No float requirements
No on-call or call-back requirements
Scrub color: any solid color
Medical compliance must begin within 48 hours of accepted offer, or within 24 hours for a quick start
