Postpartum Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel assignment in Wausau, Wisconsin
Primary location: Post Partum
Contract length: 13 weeks
Start date: ASAP
Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week
Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Weekend/holiday rotation: every 3rd weekend and every other holiday
Float requirements: none
On-call: mandatory on-call hours up to 20 hours in a 6-week block; may be low censused and put on call
Call back minimum: 2 hours

Required Qualifications

Wisconsin RN license
BLS
Advanced NRP
2 years of post partum experience
Labor and Delivery competent

Preferred Qualifications

EPIC experience

Unit Information

11-bed L&D / 8-bed Post Partum
Approximately 1,350 deliveries annually
Average monthly delivery rate: 112

Additional Notes

Scrub colors: any color
Travelers may be placed on call for low census hours, and those hours count toward the 36 low census unbillable hours
During flu season, travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccination must wear a mask at all times
