Long Term Care Registered Nurse

Overview

• Travel assignment in Medford, Wisconsin
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Weekend/holiday requirement: every other weekend and holidays
• On-call/call-back: none

Required Qualifications

• Wisconsin RN license
• AHA or ARC BLS
• 2+ years previous SNF long term care experience
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing setting
• Strong medication administration skills

Unit / Setting

• Primary location: Medford Care and Rehab
• Float scope: Short term, Long term, and CBRF Unit
• Unit details:

  • Unit 1: 12 beds for short term residents and 10 CBRF residents
  • Unit 2: LTC with 20 beds
  • Staffing: 3 aides and 2 nurses per shift on day and PM shift

Additional Details

• Charting system: ECS; training provided
• Scrubs: any clean, work-appropriate scrubs
• Low census: eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
• Travelers may be placed on call for low census hours
• Call-back minimum: 2 hours
• During flu season, travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccination must wear a mask at all times
