CT Technologist

Location: Hillsborough, North Carolina

Employment Type: Clinical-Allied

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift: Nights, Monday through Thursday, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM

Hours: 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures and tests to acquire and analyze patient diagnostic data.
• Verify patient identity, obtain patient history, and ask and document pregnancy status for patients of childbearing age.
• Obtain and manipulate images per protocol, including multi-planar and 3D reconstructions, and select appropriate window and level settings.
• Administer oral contrast to adult and pediatric patients, establish IV lines, administer IV contrast, and check contrast eligibility and lab values per protocol.
• Transmit, verify, and segment images, and manage orders, including canceling duplicate orders and ensuring charge and demographic accuracy.
• Review patient charts and reports for correlation, document incidents, and precept new employees and students.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist, with CT Technologist experience within the last year.
• Registered with the ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), or registry eligible.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association, including HCP BLS competency.
• Experience with 3D imaging.
