Neurodiagnostic Tech II

Overview

• Travel clinical allied role in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
• 13-week contract.
• 3rd shift, 10 hours per day, 70 hours per week.

Role Summary

• Prepares patients for routine EEG, EMG, long-term and intraoperative monitoring, evoked potentials, nerve conduction velocities, autonomic testing, Neuro Interventional radiology WADA, and PET.
• Performs work in the laboratory, at the bedside, and in critical care units for patients of all ages served by the department.
• May be required to float to other sites.
• Additional duties include charge capture, scheduling, front desk support, documentation, and reviewing/clipping EMU and continuous EEG files.

Required Qualifications

• EEG Technologist experience within the last year.
• 1 year of experience as an EEG Technologist.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven ability to perform Electroencephalography.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven experience as a Neurodiagnostic Technician.
• Graduate of an accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalography E Evoked Potentials (ABRET).
• ABRET registration in at least one of the following: Registered Electroencephalography Technologist (EEG), Registered Nerve Conduction Velocity Testing (EMG/NCV), Certified Autonomic Professional (CAP), Certified Long Term Monitoring Technologist (CLTM), or Registered Evoked Potential Technologist.
• Nerve Conduction Velocity Testing.
• Autonomics.

• Evoked Potentials.
• Magnetoencephalography.
