10 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Job Summary

Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging using knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and image quality.
Communicate effectively with patients to explain exams and alleviate anxiety.
Understand patient positioning, imaging techniques, radiation safety, infection control, and quality control.
Supervise students providing patient care and treatment as part of their training.
Use imaging equipment, PACS, and EPIC systems to process and retain images and exam information.
Apply radiation safety techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
Provide age-appropriate care, including communication, safety, patient teaching, and understanding physical/functional growth and development.

Required Qualifications

Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Kentucky
State Radiology Technologist License
Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
ARRT (R) certification
BLS certification
Experience with Epic
