Job Overview

Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Indiana
- Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
- Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
- CCP
- ACLS
- A bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Perfusion Science
- Perfusionist experience
Preferred Education
- Master’s degree in Cardiovascular Perfusion Science
Key Responsibilities
- Run perfusion-related equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on perfusion-related equipment
- Operate autotransfusion devices
- Assemble and operate ECMO and VAD equipment
- Support vascular procedures using extracorporeal circulation
- Conduct CPB safely and effectively
- Perform and interpret point-of-care testing related to CPB
Work Environment
- Cardiac surgery patients
- 6 operating rooms
- Must be able to work under pressure and be flexible
