Job Details

• Specialty: Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Med Surg Tele)
• Shift: 7 PM
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Shifts: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule
• Call Requirements: None scheduled; may flex scheduled shifts to on-call up to twice during contract
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Unit Beds: 40
• Float Requirements: Floating to other units such as Intermediate Care (IMC) and Emergency Department (ED) is expected
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric patients, including total joint, surgical, acute coronary syndrome (ACS), acute on chronic conditions (CHF, CKD), alcohol withdrawal, systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS), gastrointestinal bleeding (GIB)
• Equipment Used: Baxter IV pumps, Posey bed/chair alarms, Omnicell drug dispensing cabinet, Zoll defibrillators
• Electronic Health Record (EHR): Medhost

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Arizona
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• Recent acute care experience
• Acute care experience
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
