Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) Travel Position

Job Details

• Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
• Shift: Evenings, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (3x12)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Hours: As required by facility
• Call Requirements:

  • Call is required.
  • 2 primary and 2 backup on call over a 2-month period.
  • Rotating self-sign-up opportunities.
  • Call hours: Monday-Friday, 11:00 AM to 7:00 AM.
• Number of Openings: 2
• Unit Information:

  • 23 OR beds operating out of 18 rooms
  • Patient ratio: 1:1
  • Patient types include neurology, urology, oncology, gynecology, robotics, orthopedics, podiatry, ENT, oral maxillofacial, and general surgery
  • EMR system: EPIC
• Dress Code:

  • Scrub color: Light blue (provided by facility)

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Oklahoma
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience within the last year
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of prior travel experience in the specialty
• Additional certifications preferred

• Float requirements as needed by the facility
• Professional, enthusiastic attitude with willingness to participate fully in patient care and teamwork in perioperative areas
