Location: Las Cruces, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, call required (after hours and weekend rotation)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Provide timely diagnostic CT scan services to inpatients and outpatients under Radiologist direction and departmental protocols.
• Perform routine diagnostic CT procedures including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.
• Conduct basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
• Demonstrate knowledge of CT system processing, surgical/sterile procedures, studies with or without contrast media, and cross-sectional anatomy.
• Perform daily equipment quality control (QC).
• Patient ratio: 1:1.
• No floating to other units required.
• EMR system used: MedHost.
• No option for blocked scheduling.
• Maximum allowed return to office (RTO) days: 3.

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in New Mexico
• Minimum 3 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) – Radiography (R) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
