Patient ratio: 4:1

Required Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in Virginia
Physical Therapist with 2 years of experience
Physical Therapist experience within the last year
BLS
Experience in a hospital setting
Stroke evaluation and treatment

Preferred

Hospital and inpatient rehab experience

Schedule

Monday through Friday
8-hour shifts between 7am and 5pm
Weekends rotate

Floating

May float to acute hospital if rehab census is low

Unit Details

Staffing: 10 OT/PT teams, 3 speech therapists, 1 tech
Equipment includes Sara Lifts, Ceiling Lifts, Bioness, and Diego
Documentation system: Meditech Expanse
Procedures include manual therapy for neuro re-ed, therapeutic exercise, functional activity, neuromuscular re-ed, self-care, and functional e.stim
Patient experience expectations include AIDET communication and immediate service recovery
