  • PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care (1 year of experience)
  • PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

  • ACLS

Unit Details

  • 14–22 beds
  • Med/surg patient ratio: 4:1
  • EMR used: Meditech

Common Procedures / Case Mix

  • Cleft palate repair
  • Appendectomy
  • Chest tube management
  • Lumbar punctures
  • Seizure management
  • Noninvasive cardiology
  • Neuro, ortho, general surgery, and thoracic cases

Schedule

  • 4 weekend days every 4 weeks
  • No call

Floating

  • NICU level 1 or 2 only

Work Environment

  • Supportive, collaborative team environment

Dress Code

  • Royal blue scrubs
