Job Opportunity: Medical Laboratory Technician

Location: Westminster, Colorado
Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)

Job Summary

Seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to work as a generalist in all core lab areas including blood bank (no microbiology). This role does not require phlebotomy or direct patient contact.

Required Qualifications

• Medical Laboratory Technician with at least 1 year of experience, including recent experience within the last year
• Certification via AMT or ASCP required
• Medical Laboratory Scientist experience accepted

Work Environment & Schedule

• Assigned shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts
• Shift times vary, typically afternoon/evening:

  • 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
  • 2:30 PM – 11:30 PM
  • 4:00 PM – 12:30 AM
• 8-hour shifts with occasional 10-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday work required
• No call or standby call required
• Professional dress code (any professional colors)

Orientation

• Department-specific orientation provided
• Orientation hours: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM

Additional Notes

• Must be available in-state for the week of orientation, even if some modules are remote
• Must submit a valid driver’s license
• Radius for travel: 60 miles
