CT Technologist Position - Boise, Idaho

Job Overview

• Position: CT Technologist
• Location: Boise, Idaho (Boise main campus only)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shifts: Assigned shifts, no blocked requests

  • Current need: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 10:00 AM - 8:30 PM
  • Monday 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
  • 10 or 12 hour shifts
• Weekend and holiday work required as scheduled
• Call availability possible if agreed upon

Requirements

• Certifications:

  • ARRT (CT) Certified
  • BLS Certified
• Experience:

  • At least 1 year of CT experience
  • Prior travel experience preferred but not required
• Skills:

  • Siemens scanner experience preferred
  • Good patient care skills
  • Procedural experience (biopsies, drains, ablations)
• Must be able to start IVs

Work Environment & Equipment

• Imaging performed:

  • CT scans of all body parts including pediatrics and cardiac scans
  • Procedures such as biopsies, drains, and ablations
• Scanners used:

  • Siemens Drive, Siemens Force, Cannon Prime SP (Cannon experience not required)
• Average scans per 10-hour shift: 3-40
• EMR/PACS systems:

  • EPIC and McKesson experience preferred but not required
• Department support:

  • Lead tech and supervisor present during weekday day shifts
  • No Registered Radiology Assistants; CNA available as department assistant
  • Radiologist on-site

Dress Code

• Blue scrubs provided

This position is suitable for CT technologists with ARRT certification and at least one year of experience, comfortable working varied shifts including weekends and holidays, and with procedural and Siemens scanner experience preferred.
