Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (8:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off, Wednesday night through the following Wednesday morning
Hours per Week: 72 hours
Start Date: Must be trained and ready to start overnight shifts independently by March 8th
Work Radius: Within 45 miles of the facility

Overnight coverage in hospital pharmacy department
Only pharmacist on night shift; pharmacy manager present during the day
One pharmacy technician works alongside the pharmacist at night
Areas covered include ED, ICU, MedSurg, ARU, OB, Behavioral Health, Cath Lab, Surgery, outpatient infusion center, and some outpatient prescriptions through the ED at night
Medication dispensing systems: Pyxis ADCs, IV prep compounding software, Epic EMR software
Dress code: Black bottoms and light grey tops
Orientation includes initial training with some day shifts and at least two shift-specific training shifts
Facility uses a tube system for medication delivery

Licensed Pharmacist with PharmD degree
Nebraska State Pharmacist License
Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience (experience in retail pharmacy such as CVS or Walgreens does not qualify)
Strongly prefer candidates with Epic EMR experience
First-time travelers are acceptable (prior travel experience not required)
BLS (AHA) certification required
