MRI Technologist - Evening Shift

Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Perform quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures under the supervision of a radiologist to provide accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment. Participate in teaching and research activities related to MRI. Must effectively communicate, multitask, and handle challenging customer interactions, escalating issues as needed.

Work Schedule

• Evenings shift
• 10 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• Scheduled holidays and call required
• Shift hours approximately 1430 to 0100, Monday through Thursday

Equipment Used

• Philips MRI Scanner
• GE MRI Scanner
• Epic (EMR system)
• McKesson (imaging system)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years MRI experience
• ARRT MRI certification required
• Minimum 1 year experience in a Level I Trauma Hospital
• Experience with Philips MRI equipment
• Proficient with computers, including basic navigation and email applications
• BLS (AHA) certification

Additional Information

• 12 hours of non-billable orientation (guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation)
• Call-off allowance: up to 36 hours every 13 weeks
• Local candidates not accepted; 100-mile radius restriction
• Department has 7 MRI scanners on campus
• Dress code: Red uniforms
