MRI Technologist
Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
Hours: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
Call: Required, including holidays as scheduled
Dress Code: Red uniforms
Job Summary
Perform quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures under the supervision of a radiologist to provide accurate imaging for diagnosis and treatment. Participate in teaching and research activities related to MRI. Must demonstrate effective communication, multitasking abilities, and handle challenging customer interactions with appropriate escalation.

- GE MRI Scanner
- Epic (EMR system)
- McKesson (imaging system)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of MRI Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
- ARRT MRI Technologist certification (ARRT MR)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients
Additional Information
- 12 hours of non-billable orientation (guaranteed hours do not apply during orientation)
- Call-off allowance: up to 36 hours every 13 weeks
- Candidates must be outside a 100-mile radius (local candidates not accepted)
- Facility has 7 MRI scanners on campus
