Overview

• 13-week assignment in Colebrook, New Hampshire
• 3 x 12-hour night shifts
• Blocked schedule
• Floating within the facility if needed

Required Qualifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• Must be able to read and interpret EKG
• Strong IV skills

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC
• ENPC

Unit Details

• ER with 7 beds and 1 Trauma room
• No charge nurse
• No ER tech on nights
• 1 nurse staffed in the ER
• Tele/ED available
• Psych exclusion rooms

Clinical Notes

• 4,000 patients a year
• Common diagnoses: anything
• Vents: Newport HT70
• Lab draws required if lab is not available
• No IV team
• RT does not provide treatments; nurses do all treatments
• Pharmacist available until 3pm; tele pharmacy on call
• May be required to mix meds if a new medication is ordered after hours
• 1 shift with a preceptor
• Every 3rd weekend, possibly more often as needed
• Holidays rotate with permanent staff
• Any color scrubs are acceptable as long as they are appropriate and professional
• Must be willing to work as needed and adjust schedule
• Strong teamwork and flexibility are expected
