Respiratory Therapist

Travel assignment
Start ASAP

Schedule

3x12-hour day shifts
36 hours per week
Every other weekend
Holidays rotate with permanent staff
Typically no call
Call response time: 30 minutes

Required Qualifications

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) via NBRC
BLS (AHA)
ACLS (AHA)
PALS (AHA)
1 year of experience

Preferred Qualifications

NRP preferred

Clinical Setting

Inpatient and outpatient
Covers ER, floors, pediatrics, L&D, nursery, ICU, sleep lab, OR, and PACU
Adult, pediatric, and newborn patients

Responsibilities

Draw ABGs
Occasionally perform EKGs
Assist with intubation

Additional Details

No floating to sister campus
Department orientation: 2 days
Scrub color: wine burgundy
Uses Drager, A40, LTV, Avea, V-60, and Vapotherms
