Assignment Details

• 12-week contract
• First to float between Bryan and College Station campuses as needed
• Department: Radiology (CT)
• 3 scanners total: 1 ER, 2 Main
• Types of studies: CTs with and without contrast
• Experience: ER and Inpatient
• Average scans per day: 16–24
• EMR & PACS: Meditech / Fuji
• Department equipment: 3 GE scanners, including one 16-slice and two 64-slice
• Rad in house during the day; virtually at night
• Have to start IVs: Yes
• Weekends: Yes, every other weekend
• Holidays: Occasionally, rotating with permanent staff
• Call: Yes, backup only; 30-minute response time
• Call rotation is every 6th week
• Department-specific orientation provided
• Scrubs: Black, not provided
• May be asked to precept as needed by the unit

Required Qualifications

• BLS (AHA)
• Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT)
• Texas MRT license

Additional Notes

• Candidates may not have been directly employed by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year
• Copy of driver’s license is needed at time of submittal to validate legal name; name must match a government-issued ID with no middle initial or middle name
• Call outs are strongly discouraged and could lead to termination
• Unit will provide the rad dosimetry badge
