Diagnostic Imaging Opportunity

Location: Janesville, Wisconsin
Facility: Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center
Employment Type: Contract (13 weeks)

Schedule

• Day shift
• 1-2 call shifts per week
• 1 weekend per month

Work Setting

• Cardiac Cath Lab, Electrophysiology, TAVR, and Left Atrial Appendage Closure procedures

Job Duties

• Verify integrity and expiration of sterile supplies
• Prepare patient and equipment using sterile technique
• Prepare equipment/supplies for sterilization post-procedure
• Monitor and record procedural data and maintain event logs
• Provide patient comfort and familiarize patients with equipment
• Apply monitors and prepare access sites with sterile drapes
• Use sterile and aseptic techniques during procedures
• Advocate for radiation safety; wear personal dosimeter and minimize exposure
• Document fluoroscopy time and radiation doses; evaluate safety reports

Education & Certification

• Graduate of an accredited radiology program
• ARRT(R) certification required
• BLS certification required
