Job Opportunity: Scrub Tech

Location: Salida, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Seeking a Scrub Tech with orthopedic experience to assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgical procedures.

Work Schedule

• Hours: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Tuesday through Friday
• Includes equitable call coverage on weekdays and weekends

Required Certifications/Licenses

• Current CPR certification
• Certification as OR Surgical Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons and nursing staff during surgeries
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient care
• Maintain sterile technique and asepsis principles
• Communicate any breaks in sterile technique to circulating RN and surgeons
• Prepare and ensure all necessary equipment is ready before cases
• Operate electro-surgical, diagnostic, video, disposable, and specialty-specific equipment safely

Experience Requirements

• Must have orthopedic experience
