Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) - Nights
Location: Mesa, Arizona
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- This position includes holiday, call, and float requirements according to department guidelines.
- Candidates must be able to start on the listed start date or within one week after.
- Return to Office (RTO) time off cannot exceed 7 days and is not allowed during the first week of the assignment.
- Candidates should specify all shifts, departments, and locations they are willing to work.
- Flexibility with locations, shifts, and departments is encouraged to expedite placement.
- Candidates must be pre-closed and ready to accept the assignment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 24 months of Registered Nurse experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months.
- Active RN license to practice in Arizona with no restrictions or hits.
- Current certifications from approved vendors:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
- Flu vaccination is required; medical and/or religious exemptions are accepted with documentation.
- Valid driver’s license to verify residency.
- Resume or skills checklist completed within the last 12 months, including details on facilities, departments, trauma level designation, and number of beds.
- Learning modules must be completed prior to the start of the assignment.
- Background checks and compliance requirements must be strictly adhered to.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel experience is highly preferred but not required.
Additional Information
- Non-billable hours are adjusted to reflect 16 hours per assignment.
- Assignments may be canceled with one full week’s notice without penalty.
- Candidates must be flexible with shifts and departments to increase chances of placement.
Important Notes
- Arizona residents are not eligible for assignments in any Arizona facility.
- Candidates must clearly outline all criteria they are willing to accept in their submission.
This role offers an opportunity to work in a Level I Trauma Center with a high level of acuity and a variety of surgical cases in the Operating Room during night shifts.
