Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg / Med Surg/Telemetry (Days)

Location: Rock Island, Illinois
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, you will contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care. You may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

• Typical work hours: 36-40 hours per week (overtime billable after 40 hours)
• Electronic Medical Record system: EPIC
• Patient ratio: 1:5-6
• Orientation sessions available throughout the year

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• At least 2 years of Med Surg experience (required)
• ACLS certification (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Work history/resume
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
• License verification
• Copy of required certifications
• One supervisory reference at time of submission
• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility

Preferred Qualifications

• Stepdown/Cardiac experience (preferred), as floating to the Stepdown unit may be required
• First-time travelers accepted

• Floating within the same discipline across local campuses may be required
• Orientation schedule available throughout the year
• Call back and holiday pay multipliers apply (details provided during onboarding)
