Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Nights)

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Prepare, administer, and record prescribed medications
Change dressings, insert catheters, and start IVs
Adjust specialized medical equipment as needed
Interpret and record measurements
Monitor patients' vital signs and report adverse medication reactions promptly

Required Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma (state license or compact)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)
At least 1 year of nursing experience required
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
Recent travel nursing experience preferred (not required)

Additional Information

Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays
Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered with adjusted terms
On-call pay applies with a minimum of 1 hour
Non-compete policy: Former direct employees are not eligible to return through an agency until 6 months after direct employment ends
