Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg (Days)

Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days

Job Description

Develop and implement total nursing care for patients through assessment, nursing diagnosis, and patient care plans.
Provide leadership by collaborating with ancillary nursing and other patient care team personnel to maintain professional nursing standards.
Deliver care to a diverse patient population including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oklahoma.
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience, including experience within the last year.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).

Additional Information

Orientation for nursing travelers starts on Thursdays.
On-call pay is provided at a fixed hourly rate with a minimum of one hour.
Local candidates within 50 miles may be considered at a reduced rate.
Non-compete policy: Former direct employees of the facility are ineligible for agency placement until 6 months after direct employment ends.
