Job Opportunity: CVOR Registered Nurse

Location: Columbus, Ohio
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Shift pattern: 2 eight-hour shifts and 2 twelve-hour shifts within 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM, including call coverage.
Shift hours will be flexible and scheduled based on need.
Call requirements vary by shift:
- Day shift: 30-40 hours of call per 4-week period
- Evening shift: Weekend call required (~24 hours per 4-week period)
- Night shift: Minimal weekend call

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio.
Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience within the last year.
Experience in cardiology, vascular surgery, and transplant nursing.
Experience in an acute care setting.
Experience in general operating room procedures, including cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries.
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association.
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system.
