Registered Nurse Travel/Contract Job in Cookeville, Tennessee

Job Details

Location: Cookeville, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Shift: Start on Nights with potential to move to Mid shift (will NOT start on Mid shift)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Patient Ratio: 1:5
On-call: No
Weekend Work: Must be able to work weekends; schedule depends on unit needs and can be coordinated

Requirements/Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
Completion of at least one travel nursing assignment
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Notes

Candidates will be tested on arrhythmia and medication knowledge; ICU, CVICU, and Cardiac Cath Lab RNs require advanced arrhythmia testing
No set weekend schedule; flexibility required based on unit needs
Prior travel experience is mandatory for this role
