Location: Ronceverte, West Virginia
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift: Days, either 3x12 or 4x12 hours, with call depending on census; every other weekend required
Scheduling: Blocked scheduling is acceptable
Patient Ratio: 1:3
Scrub Color: Navy blue
Start Date: ASAP

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, with experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Certifications issued by the American Heart Association:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification
Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification
Membership or certification from the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN)

Flu vaccine required during October 2024 - March 2025 flu season (no declinations accepted)
Must clock in and out for shifts to receive payment
Any missed shift requires a make-up shift during the same work week or pay period
Must be located more than 75 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
Cerner experience preferred

Government-issued photo ID required
Background check within 1 year of start, updated annually
Drug screening (9-panel) within 30 days of start
Physical exam within 1 year of start
Fit test for N95 masks within 1 year, updated annually
Required immunizations and titers:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within past 10 years)
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray (within 3 months) or annual TB questionnaire for positive responders
- Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella titers or vaccinations
- Hepatitis B vaccination or titer documentation
Annual competency exams and medication/pharmacology tests
Completion of facility-specific learning modules prior to start
COVID vaccination preferred but not required

Previously employed permanent staff at this facility must wait 2 years before being hired as travelers
Vaccine exemptions (medical or religious) require completion of specific exemption forms and approval before start
Flu vaccination must be completed by November 12, 2024, or candidate may be removed from assignment
