Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech

Location: Escondido, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule

• 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Primary schedule: Friday – Sunday or Thursday – Saturday
• 1 call shift (9 hours) per week
• Schedule may vary based on staffing needs

Required Qualifications

• Valid X-Ray Technician license in California
• Minimum 1 year of X-Ray Technician experience, with experience within the last year
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Requirements

• I-9 verification
• Valid Driver’s License or State ID with address
• Background checks including 7-year criminal history and federal exclusions
• Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, DO, PA, or NP
• Fit mask test within 12 months of start
• Negative 9-panel drug test within 30 days prior to start
• Immunizations or proof of immunity for:

  • Measles (Rubeola)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B (vaccination series, positive titer, or declination)
  • Varicella
• TB screening (2-step PPD, Q-Gold, or T-spot) within 1 year and updated annually
• Flu vaccination or declination form required prior to start (seasonal)
• COVID vaccination preferred; declination form if unvaccinated
• 2 professional references within 3 years from a manager, supervisor, or charge nurse
• Skills checklist updated annually
• Badge photo with white background required prior to start
• Completion of online orientation and competency exams as assigned

• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required for this position.
• Pass/fail competency exams with minimum 80% required annually.
• HIPAA and safety acknowledgments required.
