Job Opportunity: MRI Technologist (Travel/Contract)

Position Overview

• Outpatient satellite facility seeking an MRI Technologist for the midnight shift.
• Routine MRI exams on outpatients.
• MM staffed PCTs will accompany staff during these hours.
• Weekends required every other weekend.
• No call or float responsibilities.
• 1st time travelers are not accepted.

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Radiology / Cardiology specialty.
• Prior travel experience is required (1st timers not accepted).

Certifications Required

• ARMRIT or ARRT MR certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - AHA BLS required; certificates of completion not accepted. Must maintain valid card throughout assignment.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) as applicable (AHA only).
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) as applicable.
• National Tech Certification verification as applicable.
• State License verification (primary source online verification).

Required Skills & Experience

• EPIC experience required.

Work Schedule

• Midnight shift
• Every other weekend required

Background and Compliance Requirements

• 7-year background check within 30 days of start, renewed annually.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required prior to start and updated annually.
• Government issued photo ID required.
• I9 or attestation required.
• E-Verify or attestation required.

Health and Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start, updated annually.
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start (N95 or equivalent masks accepted).
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year; if past positive, clear chest X-ray within 5 years and annual TB questionnaire required.
• Required immunizations or titers: Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella. Boosters required if titers are negative or equivocal.
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 30 days of start; instant drug screens not accepted.
• Seasonal flu vaccination required year-round with strict deadlines; no exemptions allowed.

Additional Requirements

• 2 recent verified professional references from managers or supervisors (charge RN references not accepted).
• Completion of facility-specific orientation paperwork within 3 weeks of start date is mandatory to avoid removal from assignment.
• Compliance with facility confidentiality, code of conduct, conflict of interest, sexual harassment, and misconduct policies required.
