Job Opportunity: Home Health Registered Nurse

Location: Everett, Washington
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• License: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for Washington state, with primary source verification within 90 days of start and upon expiration.
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA, ARC, Military acceptable)
• Experience:

  • Minimum years of experience not explicitly stated; assume standard RN experience required.
• Background Checks: Must be completed within 90 days of start and updated annually, including but not limited to:

  • SSN Trace
  • County searches for last 7 years of locations lived/worked/schooled
  • FACIS Level 1M
  • Nationwide Sex Offender
  • Motor Vehicle Records/Drivers Record (MVR)
  • Education Verification (highest degree related to profession)
  • Work History Verification (7 years, with verification attempts if needed)
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM
  • HHS/OIG
  • State-specific criminal history and employability status checks (Washington-specific requirements apply)
• Health Requirements:

  • Physical exam within last 12 months (physician statement)
  • Fit test for N95 mask (no specific model required)
  • Negative TB test (PPD, Q Gold, or TSpot) within 1 year or chest X-ray within 5 years if positive PPD
  • Annual TB questionnaire required for all candidates
  • Immunizations or proof of immunity for:

    • Rubeola (Measles)
    • Mumps
    • Rubella
    • Hepatitis B
    • Varicella
  • 9 Panel Drug Screen within last 12 months
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or facility-specific declination form required during flu season
  • COVID vaccination or facility-specific declination required
• References:

  • 2 professional references within 2 years of start (travel, allied, per diem acute care)
• Other Requirements:

  • Signed Orientation Safety Manual Acknowledgement (updated annually)
  • Competency exams as applicable (medication/pharmacology competency)
  • Proof of current auto insurance if job responsibilities include driving (required for all home health positions)
  • Completion of facility-specific Acceptable Use Policy prior to start

Additional Notes

• Fingerprinting requirements for Washington candidates who have not lived in the state for the past 3 years; completed on-site.
• Background checks and verifications must be current and compliant with state and facility policies.
