Call Requirements:
- Rotate on-call after 11:30 PM
- Rotate weekend on-call for 24 hours

Required Qualifications

Certifications:
- ARDMS or ARRT(S)
- BLS (AHA only, RQI accepted; renewal required if expiring within 30 days of start)
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years required
- Experience working in ER, ICU, Pediatrics, PICU, and with portable imaging
Technical Skills:
- EPIC experience required
- Experience with GE equipment and PACS systems

Additional Requirements

Must have current/valid Driver’s License or government photo ID (color copy required)
Background checks including:
- 7-year criminal background check (within 90 days of start)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG checks (updated monthly)
- Sex offender search (updated monthly)
- Education verification (if applicable)
State license verification: Active Louisiana or Compact License required upon submission
National certification verification relevant to specialty (updated annually)
Competency exam specific to specialty (minimum 80%, updated annually)
COVID-19 medical or religious exemption forms if applicable
Photo for badge: Full color, passport-style, recent (within 6 months)
Physical exam within 12 months indicating good health
Fit mask testing (N95) within 1 year of start; onsite fit testing available if needed
Immunizations and health documentation:
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months
- Tdap (for select departments)
- Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella: Positive IGG titer or completed vaccine series
- Hepatitis B: Positive antibody titer, completed vaccine series, or booster
- Varicella: Positive IGG titer, completed vaccine series, or booster
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season (Oct-Apr)
Negative 10-panel drug screen within 60 days of start (no instant screenings)
Skills checklist updated annually
Employment application/resume required with 7 years employment history and explanation for gaps

ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – required for critical care and related specialties
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – required for Pediatrics, ER, PACU, PICU
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) – required for L&D, NICU, Nursery, Postpartum, ER
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) – required for ER
CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) – required for certain specialties including Critical Care Step-Down, PACU, PICU, ER, Psych & Behavioral Health
