Required Qualifications

Cath Lab Technologist with 2 years of experience
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ARRT or RCIS
Experience with Impella devices
Experience with balloon pumps
Experience with PCI (Percutaneous Coronary Intervention)
Experience with stents
Experience with pacemaker procedures
Experience with catheterization procedures
Experience with rotablator
Weeknight call coverage experience (1 day/week, 1730-0700)
Weekend coverage experience (every 5-6 weeks, 5-6 weekend shifts per contract)
Stroke and STEMI call coverage experience
EKG settings and interpretation experience
Rhythm interpretation experience

Schedule / Work Expectations

Weekend coverage every 5–6 weeks
5–6 weekend shifts per contract
Weeknight call coverage 1 day per week, 5:30 PM–7:00 AM
Call covers Stroke and STEMI cases in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology
Will consider 3x12s

Additional Notes

Coronary and interventional radiology experience is preferred
First-time travelers are not accepted unless they have extensive background and lots of cath lab experience
Local candidates are not accepted
EPIC familiarity is preferred
The unit sees about 20–35 cases per day depending on the day
