Job Overview

• Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
• Hours per week: 36
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Schedule notes: Every other weekend, float as needed, holidays as needed
• Unit focus: ICU for a primary trauma and stroke unit
• Patient ratio: 2:1 or 1:1

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit (3 years of experience)
• ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Trauma experience
• Experience with Epic

Health and Compliance Requirements

• Physical exam confirming the candidate is free of communicable diseases and can perform the job without restrictions
• Annual fit test using approved mask options
• Negative QuantiFERON TB test or chest X-ray if there is a past positive result
• TB questionnaire
• MMR immunity or vaccination documentation for measles, mumps, and rubella
• Hepatitis B series, titer, or signed declination
• Varicella immunity or vaccination documentation
• Negative 10-panel drug screen within 12 months of start
• Seasonal flu vaccination documentation, declination, or exemption during flu season
