Job Opportunity: X-Ray Tech

Work Schedule

• Shift: Evening (5 days a week, 8 hours per day, 14:00 - 22:30)
• Weekend Requirement: 2 weekends per month
• Holiday rotation required

Required Experience

• 3 to 5 years of experience in Radiology/Cardiology specialty
• Must have hospital X-Ray experience within the last year
• Experience with ER, Surgery, C-arm, and Portable X-Ray equipment required

Required Certifications and Licenses

• ARRT (R) certification
• CRT (R F) certification
• Current and valid California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Radiologic Health Branch Diagnostic Radiologic Technology and Fluoroscopy permits (physical copies required)

Required Documentation and Compliance

• Current and valid driver’s license or government-issued photo ID
• Background checks including:

  • Social Security Trace
  • 7-year National Criminal History Search (County searches)
  • National Sex Offender Search
  • FACIS level 3 search (includes OFAC)
  • EPLS/GSA/SAM search (within 30 days of start, annual renewal required)
  • HHS/OIG search (within 30 days of start, annual renewal required)
• Education verification (Diploma or official transcripts acceptable)
• Physical exam within one year of start, updated annually
• Negative TB test (QGold) within one year of start; chest X-ray if applicable
• Immunizations or proof of immunity for:

  • Rubeola (Measles)
  • Mumps
  • Rubella
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap vaccination or declination within the past year
• Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start (Aya requirement)
• Seasonal flu vaccination or signed declination (required during flu season)
• COVID-19 vaccination or declination per current guidelines (monovalent vaccine dose after 9/12/2023 or declination accepted)
• Facility-specific onboarding documents including:

  • Photo for badge (recent, clear, color headshot)
  • Confidentiality agreement
  • HIPAA training and acknowledgment
  • Annual education and OSHA training modules
  • Access request forms (for Allied techs, LVNs, CNAs, Non-Clinical, and Interim Leadership)
  • Other facility-specific compliance forms as required

References and Employment History

• Two professional references required; at least one must be from the past year and at supervisor level or above
• Employment application covering last 7 years with explanations for gaps of 30 days or more
• Work history verification for last 5 years, including gap explanations
