Cath Lab Tech - Travel/Contract Position

Location: Edgewood, Kentucky
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

Shift: Day shift, 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM)
Schedule: Every 4th weekend (Saturday & Sunday) and on-call 1-2 nights per week
Holiday rotation participation required
Charting system: EPIC experience required
Dress code: No agency or brand logos on scrubs/apparel; no nose rings or gauged earrings; fingernails must be natural and less than 1/4" in length (polish allowed)
Facilities: No cafeteria; refrigerator and microwave provided onsite
Parking: Free in any unrestricted space

Required Qualifications

Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Kentucky
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
Cath Lab Technologist experience within the last year
KBMIRT certification
ARRT certification
ACLS certification
BLS certification
Experience with EPIC charting system

Compliance & Documentation

Government-issued photo ID must be carried during work hours
Background checks: 7-year criminal history, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG within 30 days of start
Education verification and transcript/diploma required
Two clinical references within last 2 years or hospital evaluation
Skills checklist and competency exams required annually
Pass/fail testing for EKG/medications and dysrhythmia competency exams required annually
Orientation safety manual acknowledgment required

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are considered for this position
Requests for time off should be minimized and submitted at time of application
Candidate photos required for badge issuance (passport style, light background)
Tattoos/piercings policy strictly enforced
Facility provides onsite fit testing and flu vaccines (cost applies for flu vaccine)
