RRT Pediatrics

Overview

Travel/Contract role in Charleston, South Carolina
Based at a children’s hospital
13-week contract
Day shift: 3x12s, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Every other weekend required
On-call not required
Floating within scope depends on experience
No floating to sister facilities
First-time travelers accepted
Block scheduling may be accommodated with prior approval, but is not guaranteed
Radius rule: 60 miles
Locals accepted on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate

Required Qualifications

Valid Pediatric Respiratory Therapist license in South Carolina
Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
Pediatric Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
RRT
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
PALS issued by American Heart Association
NRP
Registered Respiratory Therapist experience
Certified Respiratory Therapy - NICU experience

Preferred Qualifications

Peds ICU experience
Epic experience

Additional Notes

Holiday rotation
All requested time off must be included at submission
Guaranteed hours are subject to facility call-off of 1 shift per 2 weeks
Hurricane season may involve assignment to emergency response teams from June through November
