Job Overview
- Travel/contract RN position in Seattle, Washington
- Night shift: 4x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 13-week contract
- Floating may be required to postpartum units at nearby campuses and to labor and delivery for second-hour recovery coverage
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Washington
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Post Partum (2 years of experience)
- Post Partum experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or Heart Stroke Foundation
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- Experience working with High Risk patients
- Experience working with Maternal-Fetal patients
- Magnesium management experience
- Pitocin administration experience
- Postpartum hemorrhage management experience
- Management of 4-couplet patient load
- Substance withdrawal care experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- JADA experience preferred
Additional Notes
- First-time travelers are accepted if they have at least 2 years of experience and can manage high-acuity postpartum care, including a possible census surge
- The unit typically manages 4 couplets, and the traveler may be asked to manage a 4th couplet
- Weekend requirement: 6 weekend days per contract
