Overview

Travel/contract role in Columbia, Missouri.
Teaching facility.
Floating as needed.
Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, noon to midnight; Saturday and Sunday, noon to 2000; Monday.
50% of holidays and on-call required.
No locals within 50 miles.

Required Qualifications

CT Technologist with 1 year of experience.
CT Technologist experience within the last year.
One completed travel assignment.
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
ARRT (CT).
Experience working with Level 1 Trauma patients.
Experience with Siemens imaging equipment.
Missouri Radiology Tech state license, if applicable.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced CT imaging protocols, including CT Cardiac, Stroke perfusion, and Trauma.
Assist with procedure protocols across ICU, Trauma, General Anesthesia, Sedation, and inpatient patients.
Evaluate images for technical quality and assign the appropriate priority level for radiologist reading.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Provide orientation and education for new technologists and student technologists.
Assist with education for new physicians, if applicable.
Assist radiologists and physicists with developing new protocols and techniques.
Use PACS and other image archival systems.
