Overview

Travel/Contract assignment in San Francisco, California
Day shift: 5x8s, 8:00–15:30
No weekends or holidays
13-week contract

Role Summary

Coordinates inpatient and/or outpatient care for the transplant department, including record review, medication refills and/or prior authorizations, patient education, and review of test/procedure/lab results
Makes referrals for medically necessary services, consults, equipment, and supplies
Serves as a liaison between administrative staff, clinical staff, and physicians
Assists with discharge planning, patient education, clinic and hospital floor support, and patient admissions/discharges as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in California
Transplant experience within the last year
2 years of transplant experience
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred for RN positions
